Details & Options

Fair Pricing &
No Haggling

The price you pay isn’t dependent on your negotiation skills. Your project quote is designed around sustainable pricing for everyone involved. We want to help you look your best for years to come, with as little friction as possible.

If we order from a vendor on your behalf, you pay the same price you’d pay if you had ordered it yourself. We just make it easier for you.

Your project should cost less than a missed opportunity.

Nonprofit Discount

We’re strong advocates for nonprofits and are happy to offer a 10% discount on our services.

Standard Contracts

Do you have a single project with a clear deadline? You can take advantage of our project-based contracts. All of our services can be utilized as a one-off project, from custom designs to the creation of promotional materials and merchandise. No lengthy commitments required.

Retainer Program

A retainer can save you time, money, and stress. It’s like hiring a part-time professional designer without the overhead. Instead of one big project—or starting and stopping several small projects—you’ll receive a set amount of prioritized work every month.

Benefits for you include:

  • Discounted hourly rates: Save money when you reserve time.
  • Easier budgeting: You pre-pay the same amount every month.
  • Less paperwork: No need to deal with contracts and invoices with every project.
  • Easier planning: Rest assured that we’ve already put you on next month’s schedule.
  • Priority access: You won’t have to worry if we’re already booked when you need us.
  • Better results: As we work together, we develop a deeper understanding of your brand, business needs, and goals. This is where the magic happens.

  • One or more contract-based projects is recommended before starting a retainer.
  • Retainers start at three-month minimum commitments.
  • Materials (T-shirts, paper, printing, etc.) and vendor costs are not included.
  • Pay up-front every month to reserve an established amount of prioritized time.
  • The retainer consists of a set number of hours agreed upon by both parties.
  • Each billing cycle begins with a design brief that we all agree on.
  • Overages are billed at our normal hourly rate. We won’t charge for an occasional hour or two, but adding new work to an existing design brief would result in an overage. If it becomes a regular occurrence, we’ll suggest a larger retainer subscription to accommodate your needs and save you money.
  • Unused time can’t roll over or be refunded. That time is reserved for you, whether you use it or not. It’s like buying tickets to a show.

Who We Are & What We Do

Design & Music

EFG is Erika Faye Goering.

I’m an award-winning graphic designer-of-all-trades, and master of a few! Designer by day and musician by night, I play 1st violin in the Social Symphony of Kansas City, where I also serve on the board of directors as Chief Creative Officer.

I grew up surrounded by visual and performing arts. My father is a painter, sculptor, and ceramicist, my mother sang in the church choir and dabbles in piano, and my sister is a music teacher and woodwind player.

When I’m away from my computer, I enjoy roller skating, collecting Tamagotchis, and experimenting with custom instruments like my 6-course mandocello. I am also a devoted auntie and spoil my niece every chance I get.

EFG Creative is my way of combining two things I’m passionate about: making information beautiful and accessible, and spreading joy by way of entertainment. You can view my portfolio on Behance.

Business & Passion

Hi, I’m Bryan. My initials aren’t as cool as Erika’s.

I grew up stocking shelves in a mom-and-pop convenience store. Being raised in a small family business gave me a front-row seat to the struggles and perks that come with following an unconventional path.

As a kid, I began nurturing a passion for communicating through art. I learned early on that it takes a village to put something out into the world. I also learned that I’m one of those villagers who’ll roll up their sleeves and build a spotlight to shine on artists who have something to share.

Nowadays, I use graphic design to highlight the work that creative folks are doing in their community. I also make time for running, collecting audiobooks, and hanging out with our studio cats.
